A Taste of Melbourne Cooking Class 2018-01-05T16:44:47+11:00

Learn all about our own style of cuisine, our innovative modern Australian cuisine, made with market and garden, fresh local ingredients – we treat you to the best the season has to offer. Our modern Australian cuisine, takes the best ideas, uses the freshest, local produce, and combines the cooking principles, techniques and inspirations gained from many cooking traditions and cultures, and forms it into what we like to eat today.

During the class, you are encouraged to create and develop a cooking style that is natural and true for your own tastes.

Each new season has its produce strengths and so cooking with fresh seasonal produce, when the food is at its best, is simply common sense.  Eating in harmony with the seasons connects us to a healthy rhythm of life.

This is what our Australian cuisine is all about – seasonal freshness, delicate, strong and robust flavours and textures, cooking for taste, cooking simply and thereby enhancing the natural food flavours, so our food looks and tastes delicious.

‘Thank you so much for a truly wonderful day of cooking today – it was even better than I imagined, and I am so happy that I gave Lorraine such a great experience for her birthday (which was last September). What a wonderful group of people too! It was so nice meeting and cooking with you. Kind Regards, Danica’ 17/02/2013

‘Many thanks for a wonderful day’s cooking on Saturday Tonya, I had a great time and learnt a lot in the process. All the food was delicious but my favourites were the salmon and the freekah salad.
Thanks again for a very enjoyable experience. Kind regards,
Melissa Hughes.’ 19/02/2013
